Curtains and Valances

When you receive your curtains or valances, you may notice slight creases or pressure marks. This is nothing to worry about and will fall out once they are hanged in a warm room. Tie the ends on the Pencil Pleat tape before the headings can be gathered.

To clean your curtains, we recommend that you dry clean curtains for maximum cleanliness and to ensure there is minimal shrinkage.

Curtain care on velvet pile can be achieved by careful steaming with a kettle and gently brushing upwards to lift the pile. This should only be completed if you notice dark and light shaded patches on your curtains but these usually come out once they have been hung. Please never iron your velvet curtains as you will cause damage, dry cleaning is the best option to take.

Sheers/Nets

When cleaning sheers/nets hand wash them and then hang when slightly to damp therefore allowing any creases to fallout without having to iron them.
